Food Biotechnology /Food Microbiology PhD opportunities

The Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL-DRDO) ,Mysore,Karnataka invites applications for its PhD programme and regular research vacancies for which walk-ins will be conducted as follows.


a)PhD programme:
Areas:
Food Science & Technology /Food Microbiology /Food Biotechnology.

Eligibility:
Master degree holders with UGC/CSIR fellowships.



b)Vacancies:
1)Post:
SRF

Qualification:
M.Sc Food Science/Technology.
Two years experience in Fruit/Vegetable/Coconut processing


2)Post:
SRF

Qualification:
M.Sc Food Science/Technology.
Two years experience in Edible oils/Fats processing and analysis.


Duration(for both):
4 years or till the expiry of the project.


Age:
Maximum 35 years as on 08-09-2008
Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC


Pay:
Rs.14,000/-pm + HRA


Date of written test and walk-in:
04 September 2008
